THERMOPLAST Nextrusions Ltd. Announces Strategic Consolidation of Operations
Laval, October 15, 2024
THERMOPLAST, the largest PVC extruder in Quebec for the door and window industry, today announces a strategic decision to consolidate the operations of its Anjou plant (Nextrusions) with those of its Laval plant. This initiative is part of the company's ongoing commitment to optimize its operations and strengthen its position in the Quebec and Maritime markets.
Martin Boulanger, Partner and VP of Finance & Marketing, explains the reasons for the consolidation: "By consolidating our operations, we will be able to better utilize our human and material resources, which will allow us to improve our efficiency and productivity. The reduction in operational costs will enhance our ability to invest in innovation and customer service, as well as prepare us to seize new growth opportunities."
The company emphasizes that this consolidation will take place in several stages, with the goal of complete consolidation by March 31, 2025. Although rapid, this progressive process will allow for an orderly transition and minimize disruptions for employees, customers, and suppliers.
Michael McCullough, Partner and VP of Operations & HR, adds: "We are pleased to announce that all direct jobs will be preserved as part of this consolidation. We remain firmly committed to our staff and will ensure that this transition is smooth and fair for everyone."
In the coming weeks, THERMOPLAST will communicate with all its customers and partners to provide them with all necessary details and answer their questions, keeping them informed of any significant developments. "Customer relationships have always been very important to us and will always remain a top priority for THERMOPLAST," says Jean Marois, Partner and VP of Sales & Engineering.
THERMOPLAST thanks all its employees, customers, and suppliers for their trust and loyalty.
